For each context the most relevant database
CODDE® The most comprehensive electrical & electronic database in the world
Historically developed by manufacturers in the electrical & electronic sector, EIME has maintained its core market and is today the reference for environmental assessment of E&E products.
Owner and developer of the CODDE® database, we at Bureau Veritas update and make available to EIME users more than 2,300 data sets (materials, components, processes, transport) each year.
The E&E sectoral databases and 2050 Objectives are made available to all users.
In 2025, EIME software integrated 2 new proprietary databases:
Microelectronics and Digital, for even greater precision in impact assessment.
Applications
E&E products (electrical and electronic), air conditioning, telecommunications and operators.
Electrical electronics
Microelectronics
Digital services
2050 Objectives
A proprietary database
30 years of continuous development
The global reference for E&E products
ecoinvent Official provider for a wider range of data
The ecoinvent database contains more than 23,000 LCI data sets including agriculture and livestock, buildings and construction, chemicals and plastics, energy, forestry and wood, textiles, transport, tourism accommodation, waste treatment and recycling, and water supply.
EIME has the Allocation, cut-off, EN 15804 (versions 3.10.1, 3.11 and 3.12) database in two formats:
LCIA Format – access to the life cycle impact assessment (also called LCIA or emissions factor). Does not include the aggregated list of elementary flows input/output (LCI).
LCI Format – access to the aggregated list of elementary flows input/output (LCI) in Unit Process Black Box format (also called Cumulative Life Cycle Inventory) and life cycle impact assessment (LCIA).
The structure by UPR (Unit Process) and uncertainty assessment (Pedigree Matrix) defined by ecoinvent are not available in EIME.
Applications
Building and construction products, textiles, food.

Ecosystem Database* Precision in end-of-life treatment management
* Included in the CODDE® databaseThe Ecosystem database aims to describe the end-of-life management of each material/WEEE flow pair as they are managed within the framework of the French WEEE system.
More than 1,400 LCI data sets by Ecosystem are available in EIME.
Applications
End-of-life management of electrical, electronic and air conditioning products.
